Grading is the single most important aspect of paving on all levels of roadway construction. At Asphalt Aesthetics, our main focus when grading is to ensure positive drainage away from foundations or other pertinent structures. This is done by placing a proper crown in your driveway or parking lot of 1-3% grade differential (typically rising or falling 1/4″ per 10 feet of pavement). We do not cut corners, our word is our bond and we stand behind all of our work with a 2 year worksmanship and materials warranty. Without a properly graded base course, driveways and parking lots will pool water, which decreases the overall service life of the asphalt exponentially.
